Mirka Ultimax Ligno 5" PSA Solid Sanding Discs (UL-332 Series) are high-performance abrasives specifically designed for wood sanding applications. Engineered for use with 5" sanding machines equipped with a smooth vinyl-face backup pad, these discs feature a PSA (pressure-sensitive adhesive) backing for secure and effortless attachment.
The innovative hourglass abrasive pattern, combined with premium ceramic grains, ensures a fast and consistent cut while integrated dust channels effectively manage dust buildup. This design enhances cutting efficiency, minimizes clogging, and improves air circulation to reduce heat buildup—an essential feature for preventing wood dust from turning into a clogging putty.
Larger wood dust particles are effortlessly handled due to varying-width dust channels, while the advanced resin system and latex-impregnated paper provide exceptional flexibility and edge wear resistance.
Each disc measures 5" in diameter with a solid, non-vacuum design. Available in grit sizes ranging from 40 to 400, these discs are sold in boxes of 50 for 40 and 60 grits and 100 for 80 to 400 grits.
